See If Your Business Is Eligible For Membership

Gather The Proper Documents.

We're eager to welcome your business to Adventure Credit Union, but we need to ensure its eligibility. These are the business structures that can become members, each with different eligibility requirements outlined below.

  • Corporations
  • Partnerships
  • Limited Partnerships
  • Limited Liability Companies (LLC) or Professional Limited Liability Companies (PLLC)
  • Sole Proprietorships
  • Other Unincorporated Organizational Structures

Your business structure is eligible for Adventure membership if it meets these requirements.
Corporation
  • The primary Adventure account holder must own the majority share in the corporation.
Partnerships
  • The primary Adventure account holder must own the majority share in the partnership.
Limited Partnerships
  • The general partner of the limited partnership must be a member of Adventure Credit Union, and a majority of the limited partners of the partnership must be members of Adventure Credit Union.
Limited Liability Companies (LLC) or Professional Limited Liability Companies (PLLC)
  • Majority of the shareholders of the LLC or PLLC must be members of Adventure Credit Union.
Sole Proprietorships
  • Every member of the sole proprietorship must be members of Adventure Credit Union.
Other Unincorporated Organizational Structures
  • Majority of individuals who make up the entity must be members of Adventure Credit Union.
Corporation
  • TIN or EIN Number
  • Articles of Incorporation
  • Certificate of good standing
  • Any Certificate of Assumed Name (if applicable)
  • Listing of all shareholders
Partnerships
  • TIN or EIN Number
  • Partnership Agreement
  • Certificate of Good Standing
  • Certificate of Assumed Name (if applicable)
Limited Partnerships
  • TIN or EIN Number
  • Limited Partnership Agreement
  • Certificate of Good Standing
  • Certificate of Assumed Name (if applicable)
Limited Liability Companies (LLC) or Professional Limited Liability Companies (PLLC)
  • TIN or EIN Number
  • Certificate of Organization Operating Agreement (if applicable)
  • Certificate of Good Standing
  • Certificate of Assumed Name (if applicable)
Sole Proprietorships
  • Owner's SSN or TIN
  • Certificate of Assumed Name (also referred to as “DBA papers”)
  • Listing of all owners
Other Unincorporated Organizational Structures
  • TIN or EIN Number required for Organization Charter Bylaws (or resolution specifying that the individual has authority to open account)
  • Certificate of Organization (if applicable)
  • Proof of non-profit status (if applicable)
  • Certificate of Assumed Name (if applicable)
